Let it rain, especially if it’s raining Ewings. The brand continues to not disappoint and remains consistent with new renditions of their cult classics, the Rogue, the Orion and the 33 HI.
In 1989 Ewing Athletics became the first independent basketball brand when Patrick Ewing became the first professional basketball player to have his own shoe company. In 2012 he relaunched the brand and today it’s still bringing the heat that put them on the map back in the day.
The flagship Ewing Athletics shoe, the 33 HI is an exact retro of the 1990 original, and features a classic reversible ankle strap that can be worn on the front or back of the shoe, and a full length PU midsole for cushioning. This limited edition colorway has a printed canvas upper and features a floral print just in time for the Spring/Summer months along with hidden patterns beneath the top layer.
Available for the first time since the relaunch, the Rogue features a forefoot cross strap support system coupled with neoprene midfoot inserts along with an EVA midsole for lightweight cushioning. These two colorways feature a premium suede upper with a white speckled midsole set atop a classic gum sole.
Back by popular demand, the Ewing Orion returns. In the early 1990's the Orion was one of Ewing Athletics' top sellers. Featuring a rear adjustable heel strap and a full-length cupsole for comfort with a lightweight synthetic upper, this model was made for the hardwood originally but won over many fans for its casual looks.
