Ewing Athletics just dropped a Sport Lite collab in conjuction with the family of the late, great rapper Big L. Scroll for details.
In 1989 Ewing Athletics became the first independent basketball brand when Patrick Ewing became the first professional basketball player to have his own shoe company. In 2012 he relaunced the brand and today it’s still bring the heat that put them on the map back in the day.
The Sport Lite was originally the first Cross Training shoe available from the Ewing line in 1993. Big L also known as Lamont Coleman, is one of the greatest and most lyrical rappers of all time. He helped pioneer the genre horrorcore. Sadly he was the victim of a drive by shooting in Harlem and was taken from us in 1999. This collaboration with Ewing Athletics pays tribute to the legendary rapper Big L and was designed in conjunction with his family. It features a premium Black Suede upper with special "Big L" and "139 & Lenox" branding as well as special premium packaging. When everybody else is out looking for deals, sneak in and cop a pair of these sneaks. They are the real deal.
