Sneaker Collab: TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist x Clearweather

We introduce a new limited edition Kurt Cobain inspired Dodds sneaker release from Clearweather Brand on

Clearweather Brand and TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist have joined forces to bring you these ultra-grungy sneaker collaborations.

About the Brand

Clearweather was started by two brothers, Josh and Brandon Brubaker. Brandon was a huge influence on his little brother Josh as a shoe designer in the early 90's designing some of the most iconic pro model skate shoes of the era, motivating Josh to begin drawing shoes through grade school. Many of skateboarding's truly unique shoes have come from the minds of or have been influenced by these two. And now they're working together on Clearweather to bring their best ideas forward without having to navigate through the corporate red tape.

About this Drop

The collaboration is based on their slip-on Dodds shoe and their lace-up Donny model. Both iterations feature grunge references like photographs and the book titles from Sub Pop photographer Charles Peterson. “Touch Me I’m Sick” and “The Grunge Years” are embroidered the suede overlays showcasing some iconic images of the late Kurt Cobain. RIP!
