By now you know the story of the rise and fall of Death Row Records and if you don’t, then you probably don’t deserve a pair of these def new Ewings.
It was the early 90s, hip-hop was at an all-time high with mega artists like Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls running the show and others like Snoop Dogg just comin’ up in the mix. Sadly this was also a shoot em up, bang bang moment in history and Suge Knight, the ring leader of Death Row, was a ruthless gangster, definition villain. Just Google him if you don’t know the details.
Now it’s 2019 and Ewing Athletics is proud to present the Death Row Records x Ewing 33 HI. Originally founded in 1991, Death Row became the dominant label in hip-hop while the 33 HI ruled the courts. This collaborative sneaker flaunts a premium pig suede upper along with details like a clear translucent red sole, gradient midsole, reflective hits, and special Death Row packaging. The flagship Ewing Athletics shoe, the 33 HI, is an exact retro of the 1990 original. It features a classic reversible ankle strap that can be worn on the front or back of the shoe and a full-length PU midsole for cushioning.
