Ewing Athletics just re-released three of their most popular shoes ever. Check the fire below.
In 1989 Ewing Athletics became the first independent basketball brand when Patrick Ewing became the first professional basketball player to have his own shoe company. In 2012 he relaunched the brand and today it’s still bring the heat that put them on the map back in the day.
The flagship Ewing Athletics shoe, the 33 HI x EPMD is features a classic reversible ankle strap that can be worn on the front or back of the shoe and a full length PU midsole for cushioning. Here we’re featuring two models. The first being a tribute to hip hop/rap icons EPMD which stands for Erick and Parrish Making Dollars. We’re just glad Ewing re-popped these shoes.
The second 33 HI that recently dropped is the White Royal Orange PE which is exact model worn in the 1990 season by Patrick Ewing. It features a premium white leather upper along with NYC themed Royal and Orange accents set atop the classic sole.
The Rogue was one of the most in demand shoes of the company’s past and has been brought back due to popular demand. The Rogue features a forefoot cross strap support system coupled with neoprene midfoot inserts along with an EVA midsole for lightweight cushioning. This Multicolor Clear Remix version features a combination of all the classic 33 HI colors applied to a ROGUE, which means these kicks go with just about anything you can imagine.
