Ewing Athletics just dropped a new version of the Rogue that is inspired by Capone-N-Noreaga’s “The War Report” Album cover.
About the Brand
In 1989 Ewing Athletics became the first independent basketball brand when Patrick Ewing became the first professional basketball player to have his own shoe company. In 2012 he relaunced the brand and today it’s still bring the heat that put them on the map back in the day.
About this Drop
Ewing Athletics in on fire and the brand has been releasing new kicks inspired by legendary rappers and groups including Big Punisher, Pimp C and EPMD. Today is no different. They just dropped a limited-edition version of the Rogue in a colorway that pays tribute to Capone-N-Noreaga’s “The War Report” cover from 1997.
“I’m super excited to have collaborated with the Ewing brand to commemorate the 22-year anniversary of ‘The War Report’ album,” one half of the group, Capone, said. “Being a true Knick fan, this is a dream come true.”
The shoe dropped today at SOBs in NYC with Capone and N.O.R.E. (that's what he goes by now) in attendance. If you made it, we’re jealous AF. If not, No worries you can try to cop a pair online.
