We show some love for this dope wild lilac iteration of the One Star designed by Sean Pablo for Converse.
In case you didn’t know, Converse was founded way back in 1908. The iconic company was one of the few producers of athletic shoes and for over a half century they dominated the American athletic shoe market. In 2003 the brand became a a subsidiary of Nike, Inc. Today the company’s portfolio include products under the Converse, Cons, Chuck Taylor All-Star (“Chucks”), Jack Purcell and One Star with frequent collaborations with other brands such as John Varvatos.
A favorite of skateboarders since the ’90s, and now updated for maximum durability, today’s One Star Pro maintains its classic style with upgraded cushioning for impact protection. Designed by CONS team rider, Sean Pablo, this updated version of his signature One Star Pro combines luxe purple suede with hair-on-hide accents. Rubber backing delivers maximum durability while doubling down on the One Star’s classic look in a vision that’s all Sean’s.
