LRG Goes Rogue With EWING

Ewing Athletics just dropped a Rogue sneaker to match their recent apparel collaboration with Lifted Research Group.

In 1989 Ewing Athletics became the first independent basketball brand when Patrick Ewing became the first professional basketball player to have his own shoe company. In 2012 he relaunced the brand and today Ewing Athletics are focusing on dope collaborations and are still bringing the heat that put them on the map back in the day.

Lifted Research Group aka LRG  was founded in 1999 by Jonas Bevacqua and Robert Wright. This is a brand designed to overthrow the masses by influence. Their slogan is simple, “underground inventive, overground effective”. At LRG the brand focuses on the ones that are trying to pay their rent with their passions. Think of it as a support group for the independent and underground culture. This is much more than just clothing and concepts, it’s a way of living. LRG, innovative essence for the above average person.

The Rogue was one of the most in demand shoes of Ewing Athletics rich history and has been brought back over the years for various collabs. This iteration was created in a collaboration with LRG and features a premium brown suede upper with special green LRG branding. This dope sneaker was made to match the recent Ewing x LRG apparel collection, which includes hoodies, sweatpants, t-shirts and jackets.
