Back Two School Special (b2Ss) is a self-proclaimed perfectly imperfect brand inspired by the inner big kid in all of us. Based in Los Angeles, California this is the brainchild of designer and artist Gino DeConti who launched his brand in 2019. What started out as merely a dream out of a garage in Van Nuys has become a luxury lifestyle brand that tells stories of good times and good vibes via the creative collaboration of Gino’s witty humor, playful art and original design elements. “To create this brand, I had to travel back in time and retrace my steps as a scholar. My favorite parts of school were not the things that were taught to me but the things that I learned along the way. It was the countless hours of daydreaming, missing the bus, passing notes in class, the amazing scribbles that would fill my notebooks during those outstandingly long lectures. That was my inspiration behind b2Ss.”
