Rip N Repair is an American apparel company that was founded in 2017 by fashion entrepreneur Jason Yi in Koreatown, Los Angeles. Located west of Downtown LA and south of Hollywood, Koreatown is one of the most diverse neighborhoods in Los Angeles. Here you’ll find Korean BBQ restaurants, karaoke joints, hip speakeasies and flashy clubs, as well as the landmark Wiltern Theatre. The brand’s mission is to express the stories from its Korean heritage through the visual language of the neighborhood to create pieces that speak to the roots and experiences found within. Inherent on an anti-establishment, bad habits and graphic-led approach, Rip N Repair takes its cues from Korean riot culture, manga and the spirit of LA’s subculture as a whole.
