Chalk Line has dropped some a new WCW x No Limit capsule of Fanimation jackets and shorts and we’re all bout’ it.
Chalk Line is a streetwear company who initially rose to prominence during the mid 90’s. The company’s signature item is what is known as the Fanimation jacket featuring imagery of individual athletes and entertainment icons. These vintage pieces are still sought after and collected to this day worldwide.
No Limit Records was an American record label founded by Master P aka Percy Miller (The Other Percy LOL). His label included artists such as Snoop Dogg, Mercedes, Silkk the Shocker, Mystikal, Mia X, Mac, C-Murder, Magic, Romeo Miller, Fiend, Kane & Abel, and Soulja Slim. In 2001 Master P attempted a rebrand under the name the NEW No Limit. Four years later that plan was back burnered and he started a new label called Guttar Music Entertainment.WCW debuted on television in 1995 with Monday Nitro eventually leading to the Monday Night Wars.
The relationship between WCW and Master P was supposed to be a symbiotic one, with WCW getting exposure with fans of hip hop music, and Master P getting his cousin Swoll a break in the wrestling business on top of getting paid. Although the Soldiers were packaged as a face stable, they failed to connect with the WCW audience and the relationship fizzled. Something that won’t fizzle but rather sizzle are these WCW x No Limit Retro Camo Shorts. They are lined, include pockets and are made of 100% Poly. This pair features a WCW Logo on the front and back of the shorts with No Limit branding side to side. Please note, the shorts fit true to size, and are designed to go to the knee and not below the knee. That helps you show off all that leg work you put in during the pandemic.
