Chris Dyer x Grassroots Get Back In The Kitchen

Grassroots California is proud to present the 2021 Chris Dyer Artist Series collaboration of dope fitted hats and snapbacks.

In 2009 Grassroots began making hats for a documentary film they were producing. Since then they have created fitted hats and snapbacks for some of the biggest names in the industry. Artists ranging from Method Man to the biggest names in the jam scene like Jerry Garcia and Griz to namedrop a few. Today Grassroots provides cutting edge state of the art designs in every item they create. They have thrived to be an industry leader by paying attention to every detail, and providing environmentally friendly hats constructed with hemp, recycled aluminum cans and ballistic material. It’s the little details that matter with Grassroots.

Chris Dyer grew up in Lima, Peru and is now based in Montreal, Canada. He quickly became known for his colorful detailed spiritual expressions on recycled skateboards. His canvases have changed over the years, but his soulful blasts have only continued to progress, as well as the growth of his fan base. He has exhibited in solo and group shows in several galleries around the world including Los Angeles, New York, Mexico, Peru, Belgium, Paris, and all over Canada and the United States.

All these hats are pure fire and available in both snapback or fitted styles, but since we try to focus on one item it would have to be this Chris Dyer El Necio Black Pattern Snapback. Featuring original artwork by Chris and hints of Latin American woven blankets, our best guess is this hat pays tribute to the song El Necio by musical artist Silvio Rodríguez, but that’s still TBD. What say you Grassroots?
