The Canvas Reality Series Continues With Patrick Nagel x Tango Hotel

Tango Hotel continues their Canvas Reality Series with their latest collaboration with the late and great renowned artist Patrick “Pat” Nagel.

The Canvas to Reality Series, is an initiative by streetwear brand Tango Hotel that gives artists a new medium to express themselves and their creative talents. Artists range from pioneers of contemporary art, abstract, and surrealist art to artists of sound and motion. In addition to truly appreciated art, the brand looks to the founders of movements and styles.

Patrick Nagel was an American artist and illustrator. He created popular illustrations on board, paper, and canvas, most of which emphasize the female form in a distinctive style, descended from Art Deco and Pop art. He is best known for his illustrations for Playboy magazine and the pop music group Duran Duran, for whom he designed the cover of the best-selling album Rio. Nagel left this world in 1984, but his unique style personified the decade to perfection.
