Legendary skateboarding brand Independent Truck Co. offers up some new accessories and classic truck designs to help you mind your daily grind.
Founded in 1978, Independent Truck Co. is a skateboard truck manufacturer based in Santa Cruz, California. The Independent Truck also known as an “Indy,” was created due to the lack of quality trucks on the market at the time. Today they are one of the most iconic skateboarding brands on the market making bearings, tools, busing and other essential skateboarding accessories and apparel.
Lizzie Armanto is a professional skater that grew up in Santa Monica, California. She started skating in 2007 with her younger brother and developed a passion for pushing the hardwood. To date she has won more than 30 skateboarding awards. In 2010, 2011 and 2012, she placed first overall in the World Cup of Skateboarding points race and has continued that success worldwide. Last year she married Belgian skateboarder, Axel Cruysberghs. Just imagine how good those kids will skate should they decide to follow in their parents footsteps.
Let’s take a moment to focus on these Lizzie Armanto Stage 11 Trucks. These aren’t exactly new to the scene, but they do represent the latest Independent technology. This is a super lightweight mid-profile truck with 356 aluminum hanger, forged aluminum baseplate, hollow chromoly steel axle and a 53.5mm trucks height. In addition, the dope blue colorway will pop off any board you decide to put them on.
