As the 2020 winds down, many streetwear brands are taking a timeout. Not DRO they keep dropping fire.
DRO is a streetwear brand that designs bespoke garments for drug smugglers, rap artists and dimes. Their brand aesthetics are influenced by hip-hop and street culture which complement their partner Waka Flocka’s music style and personal brand. Originated in the streets of Los Angeles in 2012. The company handcrafted their first garments in a work/live loft on the corner of 5th and Broadway in DTLA. For those who know the area, it’s where the LAPD and LA County Sheriff jurisdictional lines meet, and neither of them appreciate the corner hustle. Since then the brand has been designing, cutting and sewing bespoke garments for drug smugglers, rap artists and dimes. Welcome to Camp 5th & Broadway. Elevation: 250 above sea level. This is DRO.
3.5 Grams aka the 1/8th has become synonymous with the iconic 8-Ball. That’s fitting because when playing the game of pool you gotta sink the 8-Ball to win, but if you do it too soon, you lose. It’s the same when playing the game of grams. Whatever substance floats your boat, this 8-Ball T-Shirt says you know what time it is and there is an excellent chance you’re packing.
