In 1989 Ewing Athletics became the first independent basketball brand when Patrick Ewing became the first professional basketball player to have his own shoe company. In 2012 he relaunced the brand and today it’s still bringing the heat that put them on the map back in the day.
The Eclipse silhouette made its debut during the 1992 Barcelona Olympics when Patrick was a key member of the Dream Team the greatest sports team ever assembled. We’re happy to announce the Eclipse is back in an all new colorway with a premium tumbled Red Leather Upper with Black accents and they feature a reversible, removable ankle strap in the rear along with neoprene upper inserts and a lightweight EVA midsole for cushioning.
