DC Shoes pays tribute to one of the most iconic rock bands of all time AC/DC with two of their most popular silhouettes.
It’s no secret that DC Shoes needs no introduction. Since the beginning in Carlsbad, California, all the way up to the current local in Huntington Beach the iconic skate brand has put their indelible mark on skateboarding in the form of rugged skate shoes and dope apparel.
For those who didn’t know, AC/DC is an iconic rock band that has sold more than 200 million records worldwide. Since 1973 the Australian born group has been selling out concerts and living that life. The names have slightly changed as life takes it’s toll, but the group keeps on rocking. Matter of fact, although AC/DC considers themselves as Rock & Roll, the group was recently named the seventh “Greatest Heavy Metal Band of All Time” by MTV.
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of AC/DC’s iconic Back in Black album, DC Shoes took their versatile Kalis Vulc and blacked it out! This limited edition of one of their most popular vulcanized skateboard shoes comes with a custom printed AC/DC x DC logo and features an absorption abrasion-resistant rubber outsole and DC’s Trademarked “Pill Pattern” recessed sticky tread.
This DC Infinite Slip-on actually was the first iteration of this joint venture with the Aussie-by way of Scotland headbangers but it still retains the elements you love like ease of wear and rubber toe cap for longer resilience against the assault of grip tape. Complete with OrthoLite insoles with AC/DC printed heel this pair of kicks is topped off with a rubber toe cap.
