The Removable Bears Have Returned Courtesy of Grassroots

Grassroots has just dropped a new collection of removable bear hats just before hibernation season.

Grassroots began making hats for a documentary film they were producing in 2009. Since then they have created fitted hats and snapbacks for some of the biggest names in the industry. Artists ranging from Method Man to the biggest names in the jam scene like Jerry Garcia and Griz to namedrop a few. Today Grassroots provides cutting edge state of the art designs in every item they create. They have thrived to be an industry leader by paying attention to every detail, and providing environmentally friendly hats constructed with hemp, recycled aluminum cans and ballistic material. It’s the little details that matter with Grassroots.

The Removable Bear is one of the pieces that put Grassroots on the map. Grassroots founder Michael Kriz  recently told us “Our removable bear line has been very popular for us. Also giving people the option of changing their look without buying a whole new hat seemed like a cool thing to do. The patches attach with a hook and loop fastener, so they pretty much are exclusive for our hats.” We’re feeling all these new styles, but the one that pushes the hardest is this Removable Bear Skateboard Fitted. Limited to just 300 pieces, it is constructed of black pearl hemp panels with a brown pearl hemp brim and features a matching removable bear patch on the front. This fitted hat has Grassroots embroidered across the rear and comes with a matching black pearl hemp bear patch. Oh and did we mention he’s on a skateboard?
