The year was 1989 when Ewing Athletics became the first independent basketball brand when Patrick Ewing became the first professional basketball player to have his own shoe company. In 2012 he relaunced the brand and today it’s still bring the heat that put them on the map back in the day.
The current renditions of the 33 HI are exact retros of the 1990 original, and feature a classic reversible ankle strap that can be worn on the front or backside of the shoe and a full length PU midsole for cushioning. In recognition of breast cancer awareness month, Ewing has recreated this very special Ewing 33 Hi. Proceeds from every pair of this limited edition shoe will be donated directly to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). This straight fire pink colorway features a premium upper with the NBCF Ribbon on the tongue and heel panel. Preorder yours today and it ships by mid October.
