Legendary Skateboard brand OJ Wheels has released a collection of new and classic skateboard wheels.
OJ Wheels first hit the market around 1977 and are famous for the original orange urethane and classic OJ Wheel Shapes. At the time the most popular wheels were Bones and Sims. Sims had a wheel called the Juice, the OJ name is clearly inspired by the Juice. In the 1980’s OJ’s were one of the most popular wheels released. They joined NHS’s other ‘Speed Wheels’ brands Bullets and Slimeballs and even collaborated with Christian Hosoi to create a line of OJ Hosoi Rockets. OJ’s disappeared from the market for a few years at the end of the 1980’s. NHS re-squeezed the brand a few years back and today they have a juicy line up of new OJ wheel shapes and formulas.
As we usually do in this space we’re gonna spotlight these OJ Hot Juice Black Wheels. These are a remake of the ultra popular OJ III in a stealth black colorway. Hmmm, come to think of it, we’d love to rock these wheels on a deck with a white Ford Bronco image. The Juice is Loose!
