Stevie Williams x Ras Daniel Heartman Deliver The Rasta Baby Deck from DGK

DGK recently collaborated with renowned Jamaican artist Ras to bring us a very limited new skate deck.

Dirty Ghetto Kids (DGK) is a Los Angeles based skateboard and apparel company that was founded in 2002 by Stevie Williams. DGK is a skate brand for those who come from nothing. It represents turning a negative into a positive and making something out of nothing against all odds. DGK’s graphics and apparel make bold statements that differentiate the brand from everything else out there. That’s how the brand has managed to develop a cult following both in and out of skateboarding.

Born in Kingston Jamaica, Ras began his journey into art by documenting the life he came throughout in his travels. The overwhelming response to his sketches grew quickly due to his fine details and the emotion felt from his subjects. Today, Ras is widely considered to be the most prolific artist in the Rastafarian movement.

DGK founder Stevie Williams first professional skateboard was inspired by an early design by Ras’ dubbed “Prince Emanuel”; also known as Rasta Baby. It was undeniably one of the most famous and reproduced pieces of Rasta artwork to date. Limited to only 300 pieces, this Stevie Williams x Ras Daniel Heartman Deck is DGKs way of paying respect to Ras’ body of work and the inspiration he’s given to generations.
