Grassroots has just dropped a new collection in collaboration with digital artist Andrew “Android” Jones.
Grassroots began making hats for a documentary film they were producing in 2009. Since then they have created fitted hats and snapbacks for some of the biggest names in the industry. Artists ranging from Method Man to the biggest names in the jam scene like Jerry Garcia and Griz to namedrop a few. Today Grassroots provides cutting edge state of the art designs in every item they create. They have thrived to be an industry leader by paying attention to every detail, and providing environmentally friendly hats constructed with hemp, recycled aluminum cans and ballistic material. It’s the little details that matter with Grassroots.
Andrew “Android” Jones is an American digital and multimedia artist. His unique style and creative ingenuity have contributed to the pioneering of the Visionary Arts movement that was sparked by renowned psychedelic artists including Alex Grey, Mark Hensen, Carey Thompson and more. Described as a digital alchemist, Android is determined to alter the viewer’s perception, pushing the boundaries of imagination through the use of innovative media forms.
They say that the devil is in the details and if that statement is true, he’s on the Grassroots payroll because this Tiger Swallowtail Woven Snapback is one hell of a dome piece. There is something special about the way Grassroots is able to collaborate with artists such as Android and make their artwork pop off a piece of apparel. Props to Grassroots and Android on this latest venture. This is the King of all Tiger hats. You hear that Joe?
