The Colors Collection from DGK is Straight Gangster

DGK has recently released a new collection of skateboard decks inspired by the legendary cop versus gangster movie Colors.

Dirty Ghetto Kids (DGK) is a Los Angeles based skateboard and apparel company. DGK is for those who come from nothing. It represents turning a negative into a positive and making something out of nothing against all odds.

Colors is an action crime film starring Sean Penn and Robert Duvall, and directed by Dennis Hopper in 1988. The film takes place in the gang-ridden neighborhoods of Los Angeles in the late-1980s. This new collection from DGK is a colorful take on the bandanas that were worn by the Crips and the Bloods as they wreaked havoc on the streets of LA. You’ll be able to create your own style of devastation with this Marquise Henry Colors Deck. It’s cut from 7-ply Maple with assorted stain veneers, full graphic bottom and top screen graphics. It’s also no secret that we’re big fans of the aqua and orange, which is why we chose it. We’re feeling you Quise. Phins up!
