Street fashion brand Banks Journal has collaborated with renowned artist Ty Williams for a collection of coastal wear for summer.
With offices in Byron Bay, Tokyo and Newport Beach, Banks Journal was born in 2014. This is a modern clothing label inspired by coastal living and a love of design. Thanks to its founders, it’s infused with a unique blend of Japanese and Australian heritage. This is a sustainable lifestyle clothing brand with roots in surfing. The company strives to always use organic and recycled materials and elements throughout each collection while maintaining a close attention to detail and design. This clothing is built for your everyday journeys. This is Banks Journal.
Ty Williams is a mixed media artist based in St. Augustine, Florida who focuses primarily on the sea and the coastline as his subjects. His work is playfully sarcastic and fancifully sublime with an element of innocence and heartbreak. The entire collection is fire, but this Being Woven Shirt and Boardshort combo burns the brightest. Cut from plush Cotton gauze, it features a camp collar, all-over print, front pocket and recycled polyester woven labels.
