Grassroots and Cheech & Chong have joined forces again to being you another collaborative classic to add to the collection.
Grassroots began making hats for a documentary film they were producing in 2009. Since then they have created fitted hats and snapbacks for some of the biggest names in the industry. Artists ranging from Method Man to the biggest names in the jam scene like Jerry Garcia and Griz to namedrop a few. Speaking of names, the brand was founded by Ryan Connolly. Today his creation provides cutting edge state of the art designs in every item created. Grassroots has thrived to be an industry leader by paying attention to every detail, and providing environmentally friendly hats constructed with hemp, recycled aluminum cans and ballistic material. Richard “Cheech” Marin and Tommy Chong met in the 1960s and the pair performed stand-up shows, released many successful comedy record albums and starred in a series of low-budget films until 1978 when their first feature-length movie, Up in Smoke became a cult classic in the stoner category. More than 40 years later, Cheech and Chong are the greatest stoner comedic duo in history and it’s not even close. That’s why whenever they do a collaboration with Grassroots, it’s straight fire. This Cheech and Chong Silhouette Blue Denim Snapback is actually the third hat they have created for the collection. Limited Edition of 210 hats produced its constructed of blue denim panels, features an embroidered silhouette design of the iconic comedians and is complimented by a tan brim.
