Clearweather has updated their Interceptor silhouette just in time for this Tromso colorway.
Clearweather is a Southern California based brand and the product of footwear design brothers Josh and Brandon Brubaker. Over the years the brothers have built the Clearweather brand as an expression of their lifestyle and as a recreation of classics for the future. Today the brand represents a combined 30 years of experience in footwear design engineering for brands such as Vans, Converse, Supra, Etnies, éS, and Creative Recreation. The Clearweather mission is to create clever footwear designs with premium materials for all.
The Interceptor is Clearweather’s version of a cross trainer with a zoom mesh upper and a collapsible elastic heel which is counter designed to hug your foot. Military webbing and an overlay loop lace system provide extra support and comfort. The Interceptor is the ultimate traveling shoe. Featuring an elastic band on the heel, it can easily be slid on and off while going through the airport security check. The style is completely collapsable and fits inside checked or carry on bags. This Tromso version pays tribute to the city in Norway which is nicknamed “The Gateway to the Arctic” because this location provides adventurers with the highest probability of seeing the northern lights. The shoe features new and improved 3-way cotton stretch mesh and a Gum Eva Strytec midsole. Neutral grey with bright red accents provide the color pop. Remember: Interceptors run small so be sure to order a half size up.
