Grassroots has just dropped an Otherworldly collection in collaboration with 3-D artist Ben Ridgway.
Grassroots began making hats for a documentary film they were producing in 2009. Since then they have created fitted hats and snapbacks for some of the biggest names in the industry. Artists ranging from Method Man to the biggest names in the jam scene like Jerry Garcia and Griz to namedrop a few. Today Grassroots provides cutting edge state of the art designs in every item they create. They have thrived to be an industry leader by paying attention to every detail, and providing environmentally friendly hats constructed with hemp, recycled aluminum cans and ballistic material. It’s the little details that matter with Grassroots.
Ben Ridgway is a 3D artist, who has been influencing graphic design in film, animation and video games for decades. He has a unique avant-garde approach to all of his projects, as well as inserting infinitely recurring patterns, Ridgway finds innovative ways to use computer programs to create his art, ways which were not necessarily intended by the developers. Throughout the years he has worked with the big boys such as Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft. Now we’re happy to introduce this Otherworldly collection that was influenced by “Inner Space” a short film created by Ben. All these items are pure fire, but the one thing Grassroots does better than anybody else are caps and that’s why we’re featuring this Ben Ridgway Skull-X Fitted.
