Iconic skate shoe brand Vans has released a few of their classics in bright new colorways for brighter times ahead.
Vans, one of the original skate shoe brands, obviously needs no introduction. They’ve been Off The Wall since their inception in 1966 and still keep delivering the shoes and apparel that put them on the map always staying true to the game.
Let’s take a look at these kicks. The Style 36, is a classic Vans skate shoe bearing the iconic sidestripe. This classic low top, sneaker features sturdy canvas and suede uppers, re-enforced toecaps for durability, padded collars for support and flexibility, and Vans signature super sticky, rubber waffle outsoles for that much needed traction. If you weren’t aware the reason for the rubber waffle sole is because skateboards at the time didn’t have grip tape. They were made of wood and more often than not, they had a slick varnished finish. The rubber soles helped the canvas shoes stick like suction cups. Just in time for warmer weather, this Sunshine Multi colorway pops off this classic silhouette like no other. Brighter days are coming. Keep your head up while you keep your distance.
