We revisit a recent board game inspired capsule of casual, comfortable, stay at home streetwear from Born Fly.
Founded in 2004, Born Fly has developed from a small NYC-based t-shirt line into a full streetwear collection. Born Fly extends beyond simple trends, and is instead propelled by a progressive energy to create unique urban clothes with attitude. The company develops its inspirations from the same subcultures that it targets: hip-hop, graffiti, and skate. Worn by hip-hop celebrities and targeted at style-conscious urban young men, Born Fly is an ever-expanding brand that stays true to the collective progressive energy that spawned the current youth generation’s cultural influences.
This collection actually dropped in February, but considering the timing of this Coronavirus and subsequent stay at home orders we thought it would be timely to take another look at this serious loungewear. Now that the population is working from home someone posted the question “how many days in a row can you wear a pair of sweatpants?” The consensus from everybody was normal grey sweatpants one day, but if it’s a pair of these Pay Day Sweatpants, we’re gonna go with 5 days. Just keep them fresh and clean. Something to note about Born Fly is they also offer many of their top styles in Big and Tall sizes. Because of this, based on personal experience, their Large fits more like a Medium so if you’re unsure what size to get, our advice is to order one size up.
