In recognition of the 20th anniversary of Yeeeah Baby album by legendary rapper Big Pun, Ewing Athletics has dropped a new version of their 33 HI Sneaker.
In 1989 Ewing Athletics became the first independent basketball brand when Patrick Ewing became the first professional basketball player to have his own shoe company. In 2012 he relaunced the brand and today it’s still bring the heat that put them on the map back in the day.
The flagship Ewing Athletics shoe, the 33 HI is an exact retro of the 1990 original, and features a classic reversible ankle strap that can be worn on the front or back of the shoe and a full length PU midsole for cushioning.
This latest 33 HI sneaker is actually the third project in that was designed in conjunction with the Rios Family. It takes its inspiration from the album cover with a Metallic Red patent leather upper and a baguette diamond imprinted Ice Sole. Details include special Big Pun branding on the tongue and on the heels and special premium Big Pun packaging. Yeeeah Baby you need these.
