Next month is Black History Month and in early recognition Ewing Athletics has released a Black, Green and Red Woven version of their 33 HI Sneaker. Scroll for details.
In 1989 Ewing Athletics became the first independent basketball brand when Patrick Ewing became the first professional basketball player to have his own shoe company. In 2012 he relaunced the brand and today it’s still bring the heat that put them on the map back in the day.
The flagship Ewing Athletics shoe, the 33 HI is an exact retro of the 1990 original, and features a classic reversible ankle strap that can be worn on the front or back of the shoe and a full length PU midsole for cushioning. This Black/Green/Red colorway features a nearly seamless one-piece woven upper and a speckled sole. Ewings version of woven is similar in appearance to Nike Flyknit, yet has a unique feel all its own.
