In 1989 Ewing Athletics became the first independent basketball brand when Patrick Ewing became the first professional basketball player to have his own shoe company. In 2012 he relaunced the brand and today it’s still bring the heat that put them on the map back in the day.
The focus made its debut in 1993. At the time this one the brand’s most advanced model and it showed on the court when Patrick Ewing had one of his best season of his career while wearing it. This Multicolor Ice Remix model features an ankle cross strap system with neoprene upper inserts and a lightweight textured EVA midsole for cushioning. If you chose to stand out on a crowd, this vibrant multicolor shoe will go with just about anything and everything you can imagine. Just don’t wear them with camouflage because that pretty much defeats the purpose.
